Easter, Easter!

Happy Easter Season to everyone!

It is hard for me to believe Easter is over and spring has officially started. The year is 1/4 over! Wow.

Well we had a wonderful weekend - Saturday the boys played and just had a relaxing day. I had a hair appt and Grandpa & Grandma came up from Ft. Myers for their next to last visit before they return to New Jersey the beginning of April. We had some add-on's to Easter dinner so I needed to make another Publix run so we'd have enough food.

But Easter went off without a hitch - yes, it could have been less dreary in the early morning. We go to 8:30 mass so it was a bit drizzly and wet but the actual rain had stopped by the time we got out of the car and actually starting walking in the parking lot. The mass was wonderful, as always, and the boys were perfect little angels. The looked SO adorable. I had bought matching suits for them (at Matthew's request) but on Saturday night when we were laying everything out, Matthew said he wanted to wear a different suit because he wanted to look more like "a grown up". Sob, sob...my baby wants to be grown up.

After mass, we had a nice light breakfast with the Grandparents and by that time it was dry enough that the Easter Bunny was able to tiptoe through the yard and "lay" eggs and hide baskets. The boys changed and quick as a flash, they went out and hunted successfully! What a resourceful Easter Bunny we have!

We had a nice dinner - pretty traditonal spread...ham, scalloped potatoes, glazed carrots, seasoned broccolli, sliced baguettes and homemade chocolate mousse & glazed marble bundt cake for dessert. Add a little pinot grigio and call it a night! We had 11 people in all and after dinner the kids got to play outside and get nice and dirty!

Easter Blessings to you all!

Your boys are so handsome in their suits. I can't believe our babies are growing up. Sounds like you had a great Easter.
