Well, you already know about the cleaning experiments (a.k.a. polishing the silver)! I scotch guarded the outdoor cushions, cleaned the grill, cleaned my oven, vacuumed, re-organized the vitamins (exciting, huh?).
But the most excitement came from Matthew giving me the chance to watch a Nascar race. No, not on t.v. and not at a racetrack. Right here in our own home!
So as you can see, that is Pit Row...lots of cars having pit stops currently.
This is the race in progress...they sure are drafting close together.
First crash of the race - thankfully no injuries.
O.k. I'm thinking there had to be some injuries in this crash, don't you?
Yup...it was so bad, Matthew had to wave the red flag - that means everyone has to stop racing.
Why yes, that is an official Nascar flag. How good of you to notice. Apparently these flags I bought as decorative item are actually all used during each of Matthew's races.
The race had to be ended because of that bad accident. Fortunately Mater, the tow truck from "Cars" was on scene to help pull the injured cars off the track.

That's funny. Shawn recreates the scenes from the Hot Wheels Movies. He ends up with lots of crashes also. The sad part is that Shawn has seen the movie so many times, I can hear him repeat word for word while he's playing with his Acceleracer cars.
That was really cute! He'll have to do that again for Sarah the next time she's over there.
