We had a nice visit today that was sort of a "Blind Date" Playdate. A friend of mine from my "working" days had her younger sister visiting with her 2 small children & arranged to bring them over so our children could play together.
It was a fun "Blind Date" for all of us - April, the sister visiting from Virginia, and her almost 6 y/o daughter, Claire and 3 y/o son, Will were all very nice. The kids hit it off - primarily Matthew & Claire...Will was his own man and Patrick turned into Shy Boy. But they all played in the playroom and then we had a super fun time swimming all afternoon.
My friend & her sister provided lunch for us and we got to sit & chat while we watched the kids swim and play. Now that our friends have left, my boys are building a race track and planning a Nascar race. I think they'll be sleeping well tonight ...after 3 hours of swimming/pool time I am sure they are tired.
Thanks for coming Claire & Will - have a safe flight back to Virginia!!

That swimming sure does wear the kiddos out, doesn't it? Katie has slept quite a lot since we've been here at the Nick hotel because she spends most of her awake time in the pool.
